Episode 18: The Unofficial Billy Zane Fancast

November 16, 2015  /  Dawn Humphrey

The movie: 92 minutes. This podcast: 84 minutes. Join Dawn, Jen, and their extra special guest Rafael Ruiz (De Angeles Films and Artiste) talk about Tales From the Crypt: Demon Knight for almost as long as the movie's run-time. We don't know how that happened, either.

There's a lot to unpack in this delightfully gore-filled and surprisingly progressive movie that was the first under the Tales From the Crypt banner. Join us for all the 90's you can handle, all the Billy Zane you can handle, and more cinematic tropes than you can shake a stick at.

Perhaps you, too, will have a knight of fun with this film!

Thanks always to The Shape for the intro/outro music. And a huge thanks again to Rafael Ruiz for joining us.

Episode 14: "House"-broken

September 15, 2015  /  Dawn Humphrey

What do laughing watermelons, disembodied heads biting asses and sentient logs of wood have in common? They're all in 1977's batshit-crazy Japanese horror film, House (Hausu). Jen and Dawn have been waiting to take you through this insane acid-trip of a movie since they started the podcast. Join them as they discuss the crazy, CRAZY (did they say crazy?) movie that has a permanent place in their cinematic hearts.

Batshit crazy never looked so funny. Seriously, here's the trailer:
